Graphene Nano platelets are the Nano platelets with an average thickness of the 5 – 10 nanometers are offered in varying sizes up to several microns. These nano particles are comprised of short stacks of platelet-shaped graphene sheets that are identical to those found in the walls of in a planar form. Hydrogen or covalent bonding capability can be added through functionalisation at sites on the edges of the platelets.
Graphene Nano platelets are ultrathin carbonic particles that may also be thought of as small stacks of Graphene sheets made through proprietary manufacturing processes. They are produced in various grades, which vary by average particle thickness, and average particle diameters.
Graphene Nano platelets are especially applicable for enhancing polymeric or metallic composites or in coatings or other formulations where particular electrical, thermal, barrier or mechanical performance is desired by our customers.
Our unique manufacturing processes are non-oxidizing, so our materials have a pristine graphitic surface of carbon atoms with great planarity which makes them especially suitable for applications requiring a combination of high performance enhancements in a single material.
