Graphene has the potential to influence both battery and super-capacitor devices. Graphene is used in batteries and super capacitors because it has the highest surface-area to volume ratio. This unique property in graphene means that when used in batteries it can enable devices to store more energy and charge faster. It can also be used to enhance fuel-cells and there is high aspect ratio, easily dispersed, high conductivity graphene platelets which are ideal electrode additives for batteries and super-capacitors.
